Changing jobs can be a stressful decision that can make or break your career. Despite the fact that you want to stay on your job, sometimes, you just have to get out. When can you say that you need to move to another path and find a new job?

Are you often stressed when you are at work? Do you feel as if you no longer belong at the office?

Here are some ways to tell that it’s time to pack up and find a new job.

Not feeling the passion and excitement

You wake up every morning and feel forced to go to work. You no longer have the passion for your work as before and things are just monotonous and each day drags on until it’s time to go home.

Dreading work

Every morning, you dread going to work.

You don’t like your co-workers / boss

We have co-workers and bosses from hell. But when things remain the same despite trying to resolve it, maybe it’s time to leave.

Unhappy at work

Everytime you are at work, you feel stressed out, you are full of negativity, and you are simply unhappy even with the smallest of things. In addition to that, you are starting to get unhealthy due to work-related stress.

Unproductive

You are lagging behind and your performance is poor. Your talents are not really being put into good use. These are some more signs that you should quit your job.

More responsibilities, same pay rate

Your job description have changed, you have more work to do, but the pay rate has not increased. This could mean that your company is downsizing and is not performing well.

Stagnation

You do not feel like you are growing with the company and you are not learning anything new. There is no more room for improvement even though you still want one.

Abuse

If you are being abused in work in whatever way, don’t think twice, get out.

Once you have decided that you are going to leave your job, plan ahead and look for other opportunities before making a graceful exit.
